NECA Adds The King of Monsters to Extremely Popular 8-Bit Retro Inspired Action Figure Line

NECA’s extremely popular and highly successful line of classic video game tribute action figures is about to continue on with the introduction of the King of Monsters.

Based on his appearance in the 1988 8-bit video game for the home console, Godzilla stands over 6-inches tall and is nearly 12-inches long. He sports over 30 points of articulation, including a bendable tail, and all new dorsal plates to match his in-game silhouette. He also has a stylized paint job to reproduce the game’s pixellated look perfectly.

While this figure is mostly just a repaint, he’s going to still be essential if you planned on having a complete classic video game line from NECA.

He ships in a special window box package, inspired by the classic video game cartridge box. Look for him to start shipping this July for about $25, though note that many retailers have him listed for less than the SRP.
