What started out as a SDCC 2013 exclusive has turned into something that no one probably would have expected – a full line of video game appearance figures from yesteryear. NECA is continuing on with their highly successful line and have just announced the City Hunter video game appearance 7-inch action figure, based on his appearance in Predator 2.
The top-down game was released in 1992 for the super popular 16-bit home console. City Hunter stands 8″ tall, with over 25 points of articulation for great poses, plus staff, disc, skull and spine accessories. Special paint deco reproduces the stylized 16-bit look of the character from the end title screen.
He comes packaged in a collector friendly window box to re-create the look and feel of the classic video game cartridge box. If you are normally a loose collector, this amazing box may just make you think again about destroying the packaging.
These figures carry a slightly higher SRP than the standard NECA 7-inch figure, which is $25.99. If you are interested in pre-ordering this guy, this retailer actually has it listed for a cool $19.99.
