NECA’s 40th Anniversary Texas Chainsaw Massacre Leatherface Retro Cloth Figure in all his glory

NECA has been killing it lately with all of their new product announcements, particularly if you like the Mego inspired retro cloth dolls. Since Halloween is right on the horizon, what a better time to release final product photos of their 40th Anniversary Texas Chainsaw Massacre Leatherface retro cloth figure?

NECA says that he’s “coming soon”, but a quick look at the official NECA shipping calendar says the figure will start to leave the NECA warehouse next week on October 16th. Shortly after that you should start seeing the figure in your favorite retail stores that carry NECA products.

NECA’s latest retro cloth figure puts the 8-inch Leatherface in his classic outfit from the 1974 film, complete with chainsaw and mallet accessories. All of this comes packaged in resealable clamshell packaging.

The figure looks absolutely outstanding for a figure in the retro cloth format. Not only his costume is packed full of detail, but so his face. It’s the face that only a mother could love…

If you missed the chance to pre-order this figure, he’s currently available for pre-order here. Priced at just $28, there probably isn’t a better way to celebrate the Texas Chainsaw Massacre 40th Anniversary, except maybe this.
