Chill Out With the New Batman, Mr Freeze Mashup From Square Enix

Square Enix Play Arts Kai Rogue's Gallery Mr Freeze Batman Action Figure

The Rogue’s Gallery Mr Freeze Batman action figure is the third one introduced in the line.

Back when Square Enix first announced the Rogue’s Gallery line via Play Arts Kai, where they mixed Batman with his most iconic villains, I was a little skeptical about how it would look. Then Two-Face Batman arrived, and I knew this was going to be a very, very cool line. Joker Batman wasn’t quite as great, for me, but was still a solid combo. But now, they’ve revealed the Mr Freeze Batman action figure, and the cool-o-meter just shot back to the top (pun absolutely intended.)

Review: Bullock, Talia, Clayface Figures from the Batman Animated Series

No word yet on the next combo, but I’m really interested in a Penguin / Batman mashup, or maybe Poison Ivy Batman, for some gender-bending fun. Now, full details aren’t available yet, but let’s talk about what we do know.

Details on the Square Enix Play Arts Kai Rogues Gallery Mr Freeze Batman Action Figure

How Tall Will BatFreeze Be?

The figure’s not quite 1/6 scale, but it’s being said that he’ll clock in at about 1o inches (25.4 cm). Now, I’m wondering if that might not change, as both JokerBat and Two-FaceBat were around 11.5 inches, or basically 1/6 scale.

How Articulated is the FreezerBat?

No official stats yet, but based on the previous two figures, and the Play Arts Kai line, and the photos, it looks like he’ll have awesome articulation.

What Accessories Does Mr. FreeBat Come With?

He’ll have three pairs of interchangeable hands, a frozen batarang, and a Freeze Gun with cord to attach to the tank on the character.

How Much Will the ManFreeBat Cost, and When Will He Be Available?

The figure’s not up for pre-order yet (it should be soon), but based on the other two, there’s no reason to think it won’t also be $199.99 for the figure. And as of right now, you can expect to see the Mr Freeze Batman action figure around April 2017.
