After their SDCC at home Panel, NECA wasn’t done with their reveals. They showed a few things that they didn’t show during the panel and revealed stuff they didn’t show at the panel as well. First, they showed two figures from the Defender of the Earth line which they last showed about three years ago which are Lothar and Mandrake the Magician and it shows that they are in active development. They also revealed the Jaws Mego Matt Hooper head which has an excellent likeness to a young Richard Dreyfuss.
They also gave us a closer look at the Gremlins 2 Demolition Two-Pack and a look at the packaging cover for the Wolfman. On the subject of packages, they also showed the back and front of the Ultimate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II Secret of The Ooze Shredder which shows all the accessories that he’ll be coming with. Then finally they gave us a good look at The Thing Station Survival MacReady which looks absolutely awesome and comes with tons of accessories and I am very impressed that he comes with the petri dish and wire spool from the iconic blood test scene. I can see them releasing another MacReady from the film and perhaps a snow-covered version would be awesome! Here are the press release images from NECA.
