Batman as a Vampire? Take a Look at Mondo’s Batman Red Rain Statue

Mondo Batman Red Rain Statue

Mondo is offering two versions of the Batman Red Rain statue.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Forgot to mention this, but if you plan on going for the exclusive version, you have until 12 PM CST on Friday the 14th to put in an order before Mondo end pre-orders for the exclusive version.

So, I admit to not being the most knowledgeable about Batman, but I was still kind of surprised that I’d never heard of Batman as a vampire before. But, according to Mondo, in the release details for their striking Batman Red Rain statue, the concept comes from “a DC Comics Elseworlds tale, in which the Dark Knight battles the infamous Dracula, and ultimately becomes a vampire himself in the process.

Mondo’s Bringing Us An Incredible Ramona Flowers Figure

Which, I have to say, Batman looks kind of awesome as a vampire. So, what are we looking at with this statue? Let’s get into it. (Sidenote: I’m totally NOT alternately humming and [badly] singing Peter Gabriel’s ‘Red Rain’ as I write this…)

Details on the Mondo Batman Red Rain Statue

How Tall Will the Statue Be?

This statue will be 15 inches (38 cm) tall, which makes it sixth scale, I suppose, as the actual Batman looks to be about 11 – 12 inches of the height.

What Material is the Statue Made From?

The statue is being made from polystone.

Does the Statue Come With Any Accessories?

There are two versions of the statue, a regular retail version, and a Mondo exclusive version, and the exclusive version will come with an interchangeable right arm holding a wooden stake.

Where Can I Pre-order One, and What’s the Cost?

Right now, you can pre-order the regular version on Mondo’s site for $250 and the exclusive version on their site for $255.

When Will the Statue Be Available?

The statue is expected to ship sometime in Q2 2017 (April – June).
