Mezco One:12 Hellboy

Big Red Makes his One:12 Debut!

At Toyfair Mezco revealed that they will be releasing a Hellboy figure from the new film out this year. Now Mezco have put the figure up for pre-order and released a gallery as well.

I have to say I’m really looking forward to the film & I really like the design & I’m curious to see David Harbour’s portrayal of Big Red. I’m a big fan of the Del Toro/Pearlman films as well and I am more than happy to see Big Red back on the big screen. There isn’t much merchandise released from the film and the only company releasing any figures from the film is Mezco and they’ve given Big Red the One:12 treatment.

The figure looks incredibly impressive and looks exactly like Hellboy from the film. The sculpt and detail looks incredible I’m in absolute awe of it. It’s like they’ve just miniaturized Hellboy from the film. The soft good clothes look fantastic and fit him very well.

Accessory wise Hellboy comes with:

  • Two (2) head portraits
  • Eight (8) interchangeable hands includingLeftOne (1) hand
    One (1) gun holding hand
    One (1) posing hand
    One (1) horseshoe holding
Right Hand of DoomOne (1) hand
    Two (2) posing hands
  • Duster coat (removable)
  • One (1) customized handgun
  • One (1) customized revolver with barrel (fits in the gun case)
  • One (1) gun case
  • One (1) horseshoe
  • One (1) One:12 Collective display base with logo
  • One (1) One:12 Collective adjustable display post

I love all the accessories and I’m curious as to know why he comes with two different guns (two versions of the Samaritan). The head sculpts look fantastic and I really love the aggressive head sculpt. The interchangeable hands for Right Hand of Doom is a great touch.

I’m very curious to know if you can store one of the guns on his belt as the listing notes that the utility belt has a holster on it though I cannot see it in the gallery images.

This figure will be released between March and May 2020 and I would absolutely love to get it which will be a difficult as I’m based in the UK but I would really love to add it to my collection and I would highly recommend this figure if your interested in it.
