With Mezco’s Mortal Kombat X action figures picking up high praise, it’s building even more steam with Series 2 to be released in a few months time. Mezco have revealed their Preview Exclusive versions of the second series, just like they did with Series 1.
For those who don’t know, wave 2 consists of Kotal Khan, Kitana and Quin Chi. Basically these are repaints of the original figures in this wave. Kitana and Kotal were given a bloody makeover and Quin Chi’s markings are purple to highlight that he’s using his magic.
Kotal comes with the same sword that original comes with, along with what appears to be a recently cut-from-someone’s-chest heart. Kitana comes with her bladed fans and her staff, and Chi comes with an awesome energy skull and energy blade. Of course Kotal and Kitana’s bladed weapons are bloody, which is a fantastic idea for paint variants.
Just like the regular figures, these look excellent and I really need to pick them up, as I haven’t got any yet. You can pre-order them all here and they’ll be available in December of this year.
