McFarlane Walking Dead Michonne Statue

MTV Geek was given an exclusive look at the McFarlane Walking Dead Michonne Statue. This statue is one of McFarlane’s latest releases in their statue line. The statue stands about 14.5″ tall and is going to be limited to 1,500 pieces worldwide. It is going to cost $295.00.

For that outstanding price the statue is going to be individually numbered and signed by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman. One other cool thing that the statue features is a pivot feature. This allows you to turn the statue in the direction that you want without having to hide the signature when it is on a shelf. Very cool.

You hardcore The Walking Dead fans may notice that she has 2 swords and in reality she doesn’t. This is because Robert Kirkman allowed for the McFarlane team to just go wild and do their own take on the character – Michonne. I think that she looks even better with 2 swords!

The pre-order for this statue is going to start on February 11th at the Spawn.com store.

Kirkman says that he’s up for making more “Walking Dead” character statues –“I think there’s a lot of guys out there that’d be cool to see as statues,” naming such newer characters as Negan and Jesus, along with Tyreese, though he says he’ll go for “what the fans want,” if they’d prefer statues of more high-profile characters such as series hero Rick Grimes.
