Just last night McFarlane dropped a teaser for an upcoming DC Multiverse figure from the Future State: World of War comic and the character is Superman. I know absolutely next to nothing about this comic at all, but I do really love the costume design for this Superman, and from what we can see of the figure he does look fantastic.
I don’t think I’ve seen a version of Superman like this before and he looks wholly unique. I love his gladiatorial look, and his emblazoned symbol on the shield is a great touch. The head sculpt looks very aggressive as well. I am very curious to know what other characters will be in this wave and what the build-a-figure will be. I think we’ll see something next week as I know McFarlane is hosting an online event next week on July 14th-15th.
