Mattel Masters of The Universe Masterverse Movie Figures Pre-order.

This week, Mattel has put up their two Masters of The Universe Masterverse Movie figures that they revealed a few months ago up for pre-order. The figures are He-Man & Skeletor from the 87′ film. I’ve personally have been very excited about these two figures for some time as the only company that made them was Super 7 and they came out a few years ago and command a very high price on the secondary market and are very hard to get hold of.

It was inevitable that Mattel would get around to releasing them in the Masterverse line along with all other iterations of the Masters of The Universe. I know some of the fans aren’t too fond of the Dolph Lundgren head sculpt but I personally don’t have a problem with it and I think it will look far better in hand. All the other details on him look fantastic with all the details and the accessories with a nice additional accessory of a vintage head. The cape and armor look incredibly well done and the only way I can think that they could have included interchangeable hands.

The Skeletor figure looks incredibly well done with a great likeness to Frank Langella under the makeup. He comes with a lot of accessories including the Cosmic Key! I do admit he does look a bit strange without the cape. I really love the look of these two and I am very excited to see the other movie iterations in the Masterverse line. I’ll definitely get the pair of these.

I know that these are available in the US to pre-order and being based in the UK I have had some difficulty in trying to somewhere to pre-order them thankfully I was able to find them on Props and Replicas UK and pre-ordered He-Man there.

Samuel is from the UK. He is an avid film fan and critic and a very passionate action figure collector. Basically he's a bit of a nerd. He collects mostly NECA, Mcfarlane's The Walking Dead line, Hasbro: Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends and some Play Arts Kai. He would love to collect even more high end figures someday. He also does digital art, collect films on Blu-Ray, and is a voice artist.
