Marvel Universe Punisher Wave 19 Figure Review Series 4 013
This figure is pretty great, especially for Punisher fans. The sculpt is awesome, the accessories are nice, the packaging is perfect, and articulation is good, with small issues. My only big problem is the paint. It's great quality wise, but I feel like they overdid it with the "dirty-wash" blue/grey paint they put on all the white.

Packaging
The packaging is the standard for the Marvel Universe toy line. There is some nice artwork on the front by Mike Deodato Jr. The figure and all of the accessories are displayed nicely in the blister card packaging. You can see the “collectible comic” nicely too.
On the back of the card, you get some more artwork of Punisher and a nice short bio for the character. You can also see the rest of the figures from wave 19. The packaging is very collector friendly and I have no complaints about it what so ever.
Out of The Box
Out of the box, the Punisher looks way better than the previous versions of him. He is actually pretty comic accurate (finally). I was happy the moment I saw that this figure was going to be released.
He comes packaged with that “collectible comic”, 1 SMG, 2 pistols, and 1 knife. All of the accessories are sculpted with a bunch of details. The pistols and the knife actually have some silver paint apps which looks very nice too. The pistols and knife also fit very good into his holsters and knife sheath on his ankle.
Articulation
As for articulation, Punisher has a ball jointed head that is also on a hinge. He has ball joints at his shoulders, hips, and torso. His elbow joints are just a single joint but they work nicely. He has swivels at the top of his thigh, biceps, waist, and at the wrists. For his lower legs, Punisher has double jointed knees and hinged ankles.
Over all the articulation is pretty good though it is hindered by his leg holsters. You can still move the legs though, you just have to use some force. I am not sure if it was just my figure but the upper part of his right arm (top of bicep and shoulder) have a good-sized gap between the joints. His shoulders are also pretty hard to get moving.
Paint
Most of the body is molded in black except his boots and gloves that are cast in white. The skull on the chest was painted on with shiny white paint. Everything else was done pretty nicely (even his head). You won’t have to worry about any quality control issues with this guy.
One thing that is weird is a kind of bluish/grey color on all of the white. I think they kind of over did that just a tad. Though it doesn’t ruin the figure, he would look better with less of that “dirty” wash.
Sculpt
The sculpt is borrowed from the wave 13 Cyclops body but he has a brand new head. The head sculpt looks pretty good and could arguably be the best one Hasbro has done. His body looks great and all of the muscles are proportional.
Both of his hands are sculpted for holding his guns. His right hand does a better job at this because it has a bigger cut between his pointer and middle fingers. You could probably fix this easily with a light knife cut to the left hand.
I like how the belt was made to be part of the skull logo on his chest. Overall I like the sculpt.
Should you buy this figure? YES! This is a must have Marvel Universe figure that actually looks good compared to the other Punisher figures.
