As some of you may know Diamond Select Toys are releasing a Marvel Select Ant Man figure from the upcoming Ant Man film. As we get closer to the release date, Diamond Select revealed that there is an exclusive version. This version will be exclusively available at Marvel and Disney Stores and will come with a unmasked Scott Lang head sculpt.
All the other accessories are the same as the regular release, with the interchangeable hands and the mini 1.75″ Ant Man figure. I have to say this figure reminds me of the exclusive Winter Soldier figure, which came with an interchangeable head. He’ll also have 16 points of articulation.
The overall sculpt looks fantastic it looks much like it does in the upcoming film. This sort of detail is to be expected of Diamond Select. The hands and the mini Ant Man figure are fantastic accessories. I really do like the Scott Lang head sculpt and I have to say it’s got a pretty close resemblance to Paul Rudd.
Pre-orders went up yesterday at marvelshop.com, disneystore.com and disneystore.eu. If you’re a fan of Ant Man I would highly recommend getting this figure.
