Marvel Legends What If? Wave Revealed and more!
Earlier this week Hasbro held a Marvel Legends live stream and revealed the whole What if? Marvel Legends wave which was first hinted at to us by the reveal of Sylvie from Loki. Now they have revealed the whole wave as well as Tigra on a retro card, Binary who is a Walgreens exclusive, and a Hydro Stomper figure from the What If? series as well.
The What If? the wave consists of Sylvie, Tchalla Star-Lord, Captain Carter, Zombie Hunter Spider-Man, Doctor Strange Supreme, Heist Nebula, and Zombie Captain America. Also from the What If? series they are releasing a deluxe figure of the Hydra Stomper.
The Build-A-Figure for this wave is the Watcher from the What If? series as well. I have to say this wave is absolutely fantastic and I really love the look of most of these especially Captain Carter, Doctor Strange, and the Zombie Captain America look great. The Spider-Man looks very well-detailed and comes with a lot of accessories. I really like the Nebula figure as well. Even though it isn’t based on the live-action versions Captain Carter looks exactly like Hayley Atwell and the sculpt and suit look amazing. The Zombie Captain America looks incredible and I never thought we would get zombie Marvel Legends and Cap looks fantastic and I love all the battle damage on him and that you can see parts of his ribcage and right through his leg too. I do hope we see more as we did get a Marvel Zombie comic book series a while back.
The Build a Figure looks awesome and is definitely one I would love to build as I don’t have a watcher and if I can recall I don’t think Hasbro has ever released a Watcher figure before and this one looks great and it even would be a great stand-in for the comic book version. The Hydra Stomper looks great and I think Steve Rogers wears this armor in the series. I think he towers over most of the Marvel Legends figures. The Binary figure looks fantastic and I am not familiar with her at all. That’s the same case with Tigra though I know she’s been a member of many Marvel hero teams. The figure looks fantastic and she comes with plenty of accessories. It’s also a pinless body much like the Captain Carter figure.
