The last figure up in wave 1 is the Marvel Legends Wave 1 Thor action figure review (aside from Terrax).
The other figures from this wave are Steve Rogers, Hope Summers, Iron Man, Klaw, Constrictor, Ghost Rider, and, of course, Terrax (the BAF).
Packaging
The packaging is great. Thor’s packaging is a little bigger than the others because he is just that cool. No, actually he is a little bigger than the other figures. There is some nice art on the front and the back of the card. On the back, there is also a very short bio for Thor and it shows off the rest of the figures in the wave. Collect them all!
The card gets damaged in the same spot easily. If you are an MOC collector then this is something you will want to look out for.
Out of the Box
Once I was able to get Thor out of the package he looks great. He comes with his Mjolnir hammer and no Terrax pieces.
His sculpt is top-notch and there is really nothing to complain about. He has some nicely sculpted scale armor and a great head. The cape is molded perfectly and is the perfect size. His hammer also has some details that look like the stone is aged.
His paint is great too. I can’t really find anywhere on him where there was a mistake.
Articulation
As for articulation, Thor has the ability to move his head side to side (no up and down), ball jointed shoulders, twist in the biceps, single joint elbow, swivel/hinge wrists, ball joint torso, ball joint hips, double joint knees, and swivel/hinge ankles.
Overall Thor feels very sturdy. The only thing with the articulation that is a slight problem is his lower knee-joint leave a large gap when bent. Also, he has some problems reaching straight up due to his cape over the shoulders (not really big problem). Other than that great articulation.
This Thor action figure is great and I would recommend picking him up.
