Marvel Legends Wave 1 Hope Summers Action Figure Review
As the only female figure in the line, they've done a great job, with a couple of small issues. The "Build a Collection" tab sticks out on the packaging, and can get damaged easily, and the plastic they built this figure from isn't as hard, and leads to minor posing and articulation issues.

Hope is the first female of the Return of Marvel legends and she actually looks pretty good! She is a little bit harder to come by because she is the only female in the line but not too hard.
You can also check out the other figures in the Marvel Legends wave 1 Steve Rogers, Klaw, Iron Man, Constrictor, Ghost Rider, Thor, and Terrax (the BAF figure for wave 1).
Packaging
The packaging is the same for the other figure in the return of Marvel Legends. Nice artwork by Ed McGuiness on the front and back of the card. There is a short description of her on the back and it also shows the other characters in the wave. The art is great and I love it.
The part that I hate is the area on the front that reads “Build A Figure Collection”. That tab that sticks out gets damaged very easily and most of the figures I received are damaged on that exact spot. If you are a MOC collector then this is something that you have to look out for.
Out of the Box
Out of the box Hope Summers looks pretty amazing. She comes with a gun as an accessory, a pretty big gun at that. It’s pretty cool that the art on the package and the weapon she comes with is actually the same. She is packaged with Terrax’s head and axe.
Hope shares some of her sculpt with Black Widow that was released in the TRU 2-pack with Winter Soldier. Hope has a lot of added pieces though so she still looks great. As for the new sculpts she has a new head, cape, braces on her wrists, and new legs from the knees down. The paint is fantastic, I’m really digging the metallic green for her costume.
My favorite part is pretty much from the cape up. Her head looks great and the cape was done nicely. The braces on her wrists aren’t actually connected so you can spin them around to the position that you want them in.
That plastic that she was made of isn’t so great. It is very rubbery and can be frustrating when you are trying to pose her. Her joints are all very small so you have to be very careful with them.
If she was made of harder plastic then you could say she is on the finest Marvel Legends.
Articulation
Hope has some great articulation such as a twistable neck, swivel hinge shoulders, swivel hinge elbows. and swivel hinge wrists. She has a ball joint torso, swivel hinge hips, swivel thighs, double joint knees, and swivel hinge ankles.
For the most part, you can pose her how you want. The rubbery plastic that was mentioned early can affect some poses, but for the most part, it is great.
In the end, Hope Summers was done well aside from the bendable plastic that she was made of.
