Marvel Legends Ant-Man & The Wasp Quantumania Wave.

Just yesterday Hasbro revealed the lineup for the Ant-Man & The Wasp Quantumania wave which will be released this summer. It should be noted that the wave gets released this summer as the film was originally scheduled to be released this summer till it was put forward to a few weeks from now and changing the release date of this wave would muck up their release schedule for this year. Personally, I don’t really have a problem with this as this wave looks to be an excellent wave.

This wave consists of Ant-Man, The Wasp, Kang The Conqueror, Future Ant-Man, Egghead, Crossfire & Ultron with the BAF being Cassie Lang, All of the figures look absolutely fantastic, especially the MCU figures with great likenesses and intricate detailing, and texture work to their costumes. We’ve already had an MCU Ant-Man & Wasp with photo-real technology and these are really some great upgrades I really like the newer costumes. I am most excited for Kang though as he looks absolutely fantastic and the likeness to Jonothan Majors is excellent and the costume is a great homage to his classic comic look. As soon as this figure went up for pre-order I ordered him straight away I didn’t want to miss this one.

On the comic book side of things, I don’t know all the characters, though I am familiar with some of them and it’s always nice to have some more villains in the wave. I am very happy that Ultron is available again as I missed him in that Villains wave that came out a few years ago so I am very stoked about that. I am not too familiar with Crossfire & Egghead but I do know they are old-school villains. I really like the look of these especially Egghead’s head which looks excellent.

I don’t know much about Future Ant-Man though I do know he’s in the Marvel Legends line to celebrate the character’s 60th anniversary. I do really like the look of the helmet though.

The BAF for this wave is Cassie Lang in giant form and she looks awesome! It’s been a while since we have seen such a large MCU BAF and she looks excellent and towers over her MCU wave counterparts. The sculpting work looks excellent and the likeness to the actress is pretty good I do really love the Chuck Taylor-like shoes they make her really stand out. She looks to be a similar size to Surtur which will be pretty cool!

This wave of figures is scheduled to be released around June this year.
