Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Star Wars Black Series Figures Revealed

Just earlier today Hasbro revealed a new Star Wars Black Series line. This line of figures will be focused on the expanded universe some of which is canon and some aren’t. The first four figures in this line are Heir To The Empire Luke Skywalker, Adventures Jaxxon, Darth Maul, and Crimson Empire Carnor Jax.

I’m personally really excited about these four figures especially the Jaxxon and Darth Maul they both look excellent. and I really like the packaging as well which includes the comic book/book artwork. These figures will be at a higher price point than the standard Black Series figures and will cost around $24.

No release date has been announced for these figures yet but it’s great that the Black Series line is expanding to celebrate Lucasfilm’s 50th anniversary. As this line is focused on the expanded universe I would love to see the likes of Kyle Katarn, Mara Jade, and Starkiller in the line which is looking to be a likely possibility now. These figures will be available to pre-order from all good e-retailers from tomorrow.

Here’s the breakdown of the figures in the line so far.

  • Star Wars: Heir to the Empire – Luke Skywalker with Ysalamiri
  • Star Wars Adventures – Jaxxon
  • Star Wars: Darth Maul – Darth Maul
  • Star Wars: Crimson Empire – Carnor Jax
