Lego Minifigures Series 12 Revealed

To coincide with yesterday’s release of the first Official Lego Movie Trailer, The Lego Group has unveiled it’s newest installment of their increasingly popular blind-bag sensations.

Lego Minifigures Series 12 (Lego number 71004) will include a host of new characters and per tradition, plenty of unique parts. The wave will feature characters based on the 2014 film by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.

The character list is as follows, from left to right starting with the top row:

Calamity Bot, Gail the Construction Worker, Abraham Lincoln, Larry the Barista, Panda Guy, Velma Staplebot, William Shakespeare, Taco Tuesday Guy, “Where are my Pants?” Guy, Wiley Fusebot, President Business, Wild West Wyldstyle, Hard Hat Emmet, Scribble-Face Bad Cop, Mrs. Scratchen-Post, and Marsha, Queen of the Mermaids.

It would appear that the main cast minifigures available in the assortment have a title stipulation, presumably because their respective “hero” model is reserved for the film’s designated sets.

You can expect this fantastic wave on shelves around January 2014 (if trend continues, it is safe to assume they will begin to show up in December 2013) with the typical price of about $3.00, depending on your desired fine retailer.
