So, a little over a week ago, we posted some picture and details on the Lady Thor Bishoujo statue from Kotobukiya. And as part of that, we mentioned that Kotobukiya was also cooking up a Lady Loki statue and that the two statues would share a connecting base. Well, Kotobukiya has released official photos for their Lady Loki Bishoujo statue and has also put the statue up for pre-order.
Details On Kotobukiya’s Lady Loki Bishoujo Statue
The statue will be made from high-quality PVC and ABS plastic, and is being made in 1/7 scale, like Lady Thor. That means it will be almost 12 inches (30 cm) tall. This is just a bit shorter than Lady Thor and her outstretched Mjollnir. The look of the statue, including the classic horned helm and fur cape, is based on artwork by illustrator Shunya Yamashita. The figure, as mentioned, comes standing on a stone base that will connect with Lady Thor’s. Sadly, unlike Lady Thor, Lady Loki isn’t going to come with any special extras, like an interchangeable portrait.
Interestingly, for those who are wondering, like Lady Thor, this statue of Lady Loki also draws its inspiration from the comics. A few years back, there was a plot line where Loki took over the body of Lady Sif, as part of a plot with Doctor Doom and others. Here’s how comic book artist Olivier Coipel drew the figure:
