Kaiyodo Reveals Star Wars Revoltech Boba Fett Figure

Kaiyado  have just recently started doing 6″ Star Wars figures Revoltech Figures. They’ve already done C3-PO, Stormtrooper, Darth Vader and are set to release R2-D2 later this month.

The newest character to join their ranks is the Revoltech Boba Fett. This figure of Boba Fett is based on his appearance in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. I have to say I have the 6″Black Series version at hand and the Revoltech version beats it by a country mile. The detail is absolutely outstanding. It’s far more realistic looking and much better detailed; it’s absolutely incredible.

With this figure of Boba Fett you can see the armor looks metal like with all the damage on it. The same with the helmet too. I really love the detail on the gauntlets, especially on the flamethrower one. All the details from Hasbro’s version are here, but done even better. The only difference is that the Black Series Boba has a soft goods cape where as Revoltech has a plastic one.

He comes with his signature blaster rifle and pistol, which there is a holster for at his hip. He also comes with multiple interchangeable hands so that he can hold his weapons in either hand. He also has a clenched fist hand. His final accessory is a figure stand so that you can get Boba Fett in some flight poses. He also features over 20 points of articulation.

If you’re a Revoltech collector and a Star Wars fan this is a must have for your collection. You could make a great cross over display with Boba amongst your Revoltech collection, especially with some Metal Gear figures. I would definitely get him if I were you because I know I am.

He’ll cost around $54.99 and will be released in May of this year. You can pre-order him here from BBTS.

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.

  1. The folks at Hasbro have noted that Boba Fett is their favorite Black Series figure, which is troubling, because that’s not a fun figure. The sculpt itself is great, but he can’t even get in his Clint Eastwood/ vanilla pose.
