Indiana Jones Temple of Doom Sixth Scale Figure by Sideshow Collectibles

There have been many different 12-inch Indiana Jones figures over the years, but it seems like they were all disappointments to the hardcore Indiana Jones fans. I actually really enjoyed one of the most recent figure of him, the Hot Toys DX5 Indiana Jones sixth scale figure based on his appearance in Raiders of the Lost Ark, but now it’s time that we venture into a new movie – The Temple of Doom.

If you take a look through the Sideshow Archives then you will see that Sideshow’s previous attempts at making an epic Harrison Ford Indiana Jones figure just wasn’t the best. In my opinion, Hot Toys attempt was significantly better, though the head sculpt still needed a little bit of work.

Sideshow Collectibles has just announced and put up for pre-order their new Indiana Jones Temple of Doom sixth scale figure. This figure was crafted on a brand new and fully articulated body and features one of the best Harrison Ford/Indiana Jones likenesses we have seen yet.

Dressed in his iconic globetrotter gear, khaki shirt and trousers, and famous fedora, Indiana Jones is ready to tackle the terror surrounding the mysterious Temple of Doom. He comes equipped with his trademark bullwhip, machete, pistol, and a huge thirst for adventure. Clearly he’s got everything he should need to recover the stolen Sankara Stones, put a stop to Mola Ram, win the girl, and save the day.

Just like with most of the Sideshow Collectibles releases, this figure is going to be available in the standard version or the Sideshow exclusive version. If you are lucky enough to get your hands on the Sideshow exclusive version, then you can look forward to additional illuminated Sankara Stones.

Indiana Jones fans that have been dying for a half-decent Indiana Jones 12-inch figure just might be in luck. Priced to sell at $229.99, the figure is currently available for pre-order here.
