Today is Monday and it just so happens to be one of those slow Mondays. I was thinking what would I do if there was a house fire? What would I grab? Should I even try to save anything?
There are a lot of different views that you could look at if a fire was to ever strike your house.
Then you could try to save your collection by throwing all your favorite figures in bags/suitcases as fast as possible (hoping that you don’t break anything). This would be the choice for all of the die-hard collectors out there.
Then you could just let your collection burn and then you would never have to worry about being an obsessed collector ever again. Sure, you might be pretty upset at first, but then you would soon get over it and then you can devote most of the time that you spent on your collection to some other time draining hobby. You would realize that all your action figures were just stupid dolls and that you were just WAY too obsessed with the hobby to begin with.
Of course this is probably the last choice for most of us.
What would I do in a house fire? I think I would probably be sure that I could get myself out first. If that was all good then I would try to save my computer with all my pictures. If I still had time then I would probably go back for some of my favorite action figures.
This is a great hypothetical. Family first. Then laptop and artwork. If I had time and safety, I'd make a couple trips back for the boxes of toys no doubt.
Yeah family would have to be first. All the valuables would be next, it time permitted.
Eesh – probably my worst nightmare! I love my stuff!!!
But if I had to, for my collection – I'd at the very least grab my Bioshock Big Daddys. Not only awesome in their own right, but cos they were both gifts from the woman who is now my fiancee!
