X-Men: Days of Future Past ventured onto the big screen earlier this year, quickly becoming extremely popular and critically acclaimed. Surprisingly, until now, there has been no action figures made based on the movie. Diamond Select Toys was going to make a Mystique figure, but apparently Jennifer Lawrence declined to participate.
It’s not exactly clear how many X-Men: Days of Future Past 12-inch figures Hot Toys is going to make, but there have been a couple of interviews with Howard Chan (Hot Toys’ CEO) saying that they are looking at making other characters from the X-Men Universe. It’s about time because after I pick up this figure, my Hot Toys collection is going to start to be overrun by Wolverine figures.
In celebration of X-Men:Days of Future Past hitting DVD and Blu-Ray, Hot Toys is proud to present us with the Hot Toys X-Men: Days of Future Past Wolverine sixth scale figure.
The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of Hugh Jackman as the future Wolverine in the movie featuring a newly developed head sculpt, specially tailored future Wolverine battle suit with armor parts and Wolverine’s signature metal claws.
The figure isn’t expected to be released until Q2-Q3 of 2015, but you should be able to pre-order him on this page either later today or early next week.
