Hot Toys Tony Stark Arc Reactor Creation Sixth Scale Figure from ‘Iron Man 2’

I know, I know. You have probably already had enough Iron Man in one lifetime since Hot Toys decided to make just about every Iron Man suit known to existence, even if it only had less than a second of screen time. With all of the Iron Man suits we have had several different attempts at Tony Stark, some which were good and some which were bad. Hot Toys has just announced that they will be revisiting Iron Man 2 to present the Hot Toys Tony Stark Arc Reactor Creation sixth scale figure, which could possibly be the best Tony Stark that we have seen.

In Iron Man 2, Tony Stark was being slowly poisoned to death by the palladium arc reactor in his body, but with the help of the information left by Howard Stark, Tony was able to create a new element for use in a new Arc Reactor. The scene greatly displayed Tony Stark’s immense intelligence when he re-discovered and created a new element by using a particle accelerator.

The new Hot Toys collectible set includes a specially crafted collectible figure based on the image of Robert Downey Jr. as the genius billionaire Tony Stark in Iron Man 2, featuring a newly developed head sculpt, an advanced body with light-up chest light, detailed outfit, the Captain America shield prototype which he has used to level the particle accelerator and workshop accessories.

If you have been collecting most of the 12-inch figures from the Iron Man movies, this new version of Tony Stark would make an amazing addition. Fans in Hong Kong are going to be able to purchase it at Toy Soul 2014, and everyone else can pre-order it online here when available.
