While Disney’s The Lone Ranger was the biggest box office flop of 2013 loosing $160 million, Hot Toys has still decided to go through with production on their Tonto sixth scale figure. The figure is currently being released overseas, so Hot Toys and Bloggers have presented us with some amazing photos of the Hot Toys Tonto sixth scale figure final product.
This movie-accurate Tonto 1/6th Scale collectible figure from Hot Toys is specially crafted based on the likeness of Johnny Depp as Tonto, featuring a detailed hand-painted head sculpt, real fabric hair, weapons, and a number of finely-made tribal accessories.
He is currently scheduled to be shipping sometime next month from Sideshow Collectibles for $204.99. He’s still available for pre-order, but I don’t think you need to rush too fast. This guy should be sticking around for a while.
There is no doubt about it, Disney’s The Lone Ranger was bad, but Hot Toys’ latest release isn’t looking so shabby. A 12 inch Lone Ranger figure has also been on display at numerous toy shows over the past year, but with the movie taking such a hard hit at the box office, we may never officially see him released.
