Hot Toys to Release T-800 Endoskeleton Action Figure

The T-800 Endoskeleton Action Figure Looks Incredible

Hot Toys is releasing a T-800 Endoskeleton action figure, resembling the design from the 2015 action movie Terminator: Genisys. The T-800 model is famous for being the Terminator portrayed by Arnold Schwarzenegger.

The figure will be made in 1/6 scale, making it approximately 13 inches tall (33cm) and will be incredibly detailed, including all of the complex mechanical parts that can be seen in the movie. All of the parts will be specially painted using multiple layers of metallic paint, with small armor dents on top of that, and other weathering effects. Battery powered LED light-up eyes are also featured.

The fans and collectors will also be able to pose the figure however they see fit, due to the 26 points of articulation featured. Three pairs of interchangeable hands are also included in the package, one being a pair of fists; one being a pair of relaxed hands; one being a pair of hands for holding a weapon. Because of the last pair, an “endorifle” is also included, also rendered in great detail to resemble the weapon from the movie. For those who wish to remove it from the box, the figure can be positioned on an included square shaped figure base, which bears a movie logo and the Endoskeleton nameplate.

As it is still just a prototype figure, the specific detail may change with time, and some details such as the weight of the figure are currently unknown. What is known is that the figure is currently set to come out some time between November 2016 and January 2017. Although Hot Toys has not discussed the price, Sideshow Collectibles, an exclusive Hot Toys distributor for Europe, the Americas, and Australia, has the option of pre-ordering it for the price of $249.99. More details available soon Hot Toy’s Facebook page.
