Hot Toys to Attend Ani-Com 2015 with a 18-Foot Millennium Falcon

The biggest pop culture event in Hong Kong, Ani-Com, is about to kick off. Hot Toys has announced on their Facebook page that they will be attending the event from July 24 – 28 with one of the biggest surprises in the galaxy – a 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon. This isn’t just the cockpit that Hot Toys was flaunting at SDCC 2015 last week, it’s the whole ship!

To make this amazing collectible happen, Hot Toys has partnered up with The Walt Disney Company to bring the biggest Star Wars presence to Ani-Com where a number of Star Wars collectibles and life-size exhibits are on display.

The complete and highly detailed 1/6th scale Millennium Falcon measuring close to 18 feet (5.5 meters) long by 12 feet (3.7 meters) wide has not been confirmed as an official release as of yet, and really you shouldn’t expect it to, due to the potential cost and time it would take to manufacturer for release. However, with Hot Toys doing a sixth scale Tie-Fighter, I guess anything can happen.

If you want to see this spectacular exhibit in person, then you have to come to Hot Toys’ booth (E15-16) at ACGHK in Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre this week!

Bryan first discovered an appreciation for action figures at an early age, setting up elaborate GI Joe ant hill attacks, complete with firework pyrotechnics. Due to the high injury rate for the Joes, replacements were a constant necessity.
