Recently I suggested that with the recent surge of Hot Toys Star Wars products getting announced that we may be getting close to the end of the Iron Man 3 era that is currently going on at Hot Toys. It looks like my hopes were high for nothing, as the Hot Toys Striker Iron Man sixth scale figure from Iron Man 3 was just announced.
Nicknamed the Heavy Construction Suit, the Mark 25 Iron Man suit was designed for assisting in heavy construction with its distinctive Pneumatic Hammers. The hammers weren’t necessarily designed for combat, though they still proved to be very lethal when the Striker suit assisted Tony Stark during the House Party Protocol in Iron Man 3.
The figure features the suit’s distinctive design with the pair of Pneumatic Hammers, special paint application with distressed effects, LED light-up functions and figure stand. It’s not what I would call the typical Iron Man suit, but it’s certainly bad ass and worth considering.
My hopes are still going to remain high that the Iron Man 3 era is almost put to an end, well, at least until Hot Toys announces the next suit. But really, what suits haven’t they made already?
