Hot Toys had a very nice surprise on their Facebook Page – the final product photos for the Hot Toys Stormtrooper sixth scale figure. The photos taken by bloggers around the world give us a really good idea about what we can expect when the figure starts to ship in North America.
The photos aren’t the only thing that’s exciting here, as these figures were delivered in Asia 6+ months ahead of schedule. This can only mean good things for Hot Toys in 2015, especially since we have some very large blockbuster movies, like Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, coming out later this year.
The movie-accurate collectible figures are specially crafted based on the image of Stormtroopers in Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope featuring bodies with two different heights, meticulously crafted Stormtrooper armor and helmet, detailed weapons, and a specially designed figure stand.
There is also a Special Edition Collectible Figures Set that is only available in select regions and includes an additional blaster rack along with heavy blaster and a mouse droid as bonus accessories.
The Special Edition of this set is already pre-sold out through Sideshow Collectibes, though they are still accepting waitlist reservations. If you missed the chance to pre-order when the figures were announced, I highly recommend hopping on the waitlist to get the exclusive set. Since we are so far away from the figures shipping in North America, by the time the figure starts shipping your waitlist reservation should have converted into an order. I’ve never not got a figure on the waitlist if I was able to hop on the list before the figure actually started shipping. The sooner the better!
