I have been collecting 12-inch action figures for a good couple of years now, and in that time I haven’t had the chance to buy a Stormtrooper 12-inch action figure. Well, Hot Toys got the Star Wars license and one of their first few releases is the Stormtrooper.
I picked up the Sideshow Exclusive 2-pack, pretty much for the sole purpose of getting 2 Troopers, both of which are different heights. The exclusive weapons rack accessory also comes with the set, but I really don’t think it’s that great, or even something that would make someone hunt down the 2-pack on the secondary market after they have sold out through Sideshow Collectibles.
If you are looking to add 12-inch Stormtroopers to your collection, look no further than these Hot Toys figures. Honestly, you won’t regret it.
The 2-pack is currently on the waitlist, but you can still snag the single figure. He’s only priced at $200, which is a total steal.
UPDATE: These figures are sold out at Sideshow and most other retailers, but you can still find the Hot Toys New Hope Single Stormtrooper on Amazon, and you can always drop by the Toshi Station… uh, I mean eBay to see if you can find these Hot Toys New Hope Stormtrooper figures.
