Hot Toys Star-Lord Sixth Scale Figure Final Product Images (Guardians of the Galaxy)

As seen in the most recent Hot Toys Backstage teaser image, Hot Toys is getting ready to release the legendary outlaw from Marvel’s Summer blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy. Please take a minute to enjoy these brand new photos of the Hot Toys Star-Lord sixth scale figure from Hot Toys and Bloggers.

Now this figure wasn’t actually scheduled for release until March 2015, but it seems that this is yet another figure that Hot Toys was able to beat their production goal on. Sideshow Collectibles has even updated their site with the new release date – January 2015.

The movie-accurate Star-Lord collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of Chris Pratt as Star-Lord. Featuring a newly developed head sculpt, an interchangeable LED light-up masked head sculpt, highly detailed costume, weapons and accessories.

They have taken their already amazing prototype and made it even better. Sometimes you are only left wondering how that’s even possible? The head sculpt that Hot Toys brought to most of the toy shows they attended over the summer wasn’t actually finished and I am very grateful for that because the final product head sculpt appears to be absolutely spot on.

 

Hot Toys didn’t skimp out on the accessories for this figure either. He comes with just about everything that he used in the film, including his cassette player, weapons, and mask with LED lights.

Now that we are starting to get Guardians of the Galaxy product from Hot Toys, it makes me wonder when Drax is going to be going up for pre-order. The only reason that I can come up with why he’s not available yet is because of a problem with production. If you look at Drax in our SDCC 2014 gallery, you can see that there is going to be a lot of paint and fine detailing. I can only say that I’m going to be extremely butt hurt if Hot Toys doesn’t offer him at all.
