Hot Toys Sandtrooper Sixth Scale Figure from 'Star Wars: A New Hope'

At Star Wars Celebration 2015 last month, our favorite 12-inch action figure manufacturer displayed the Hot Toys Sandtrooper sixth scale figure from Star Wars: A New Hope. Now the Hong Kong based company has officially announced the figure and he’s currently available for pre-order.

The highly accurate Sandtrooper collectible figure is specially crafted based on the image of the Squad Leader on Tatooine. The specialized trooper features a meticulously crafted Sandtrooper armor and helmet with signature weathering effects, a highly detailed survival backpack, 3 types of blasters, a Patrol Droid as seen in the Special Edition of the film, and a specially designed desert-themed figure stand!

I’m kind of disappointed in the fact that Hot Toys is only going to be giving us one rank of the Sandtrooper. I would have really enjoyed another 2-pack, similar to what they did on their Stormtrooper 2-pack by giving us 2 slight variations of the Stormtrooper.
