Iron Man 3 was one of the most successful movies of the summer, grossing over 1 billion dollars worldwide. Hot Toys is taking advantage of that by making just about every figure that they can from the movie, because they know that the demand is there. Hot Toys kind of came out of the woodwork today revealing a FOURTH Toy Fairs Exclusive figure, the Hot Toys MIDAS Iron Man Mark XXI 1/6th Scale Figure.

Straight out of Tony Stark’s “House Party Protocol” comes the Hot Toys MIDAS Iron Man suit, the high-altitude suit, as the next summer exclusive item.

The Midas Collectible Figure features multitude layers and shades of metallic gold color painted by Hot Toys’ Korean Chief Painter & Production Director JC. Hong and Painting Specialist Woong Young Lee giving the collectible figure a brilliant finish with unrivaled aesthetics and quality.

Oddly enough it looks exactly like the Mark VII, just repainted gold. Hmmm….
