Hot Toys Iron Man 3 Peacemaker Sixth Scale Figure (Mark 36)
As Iron Man 3 continues to fade away from our minds, Hot Toys keeps bringing it back by making a ton of sixth scale figures based on the very cool “House Party Protocol” scene toward the end of the film. The latest collectible figure revealed was the Hot Toys Iron Man 3 Peacemaker sixth scale figure.
The Mark 36 armor was designed by Tony Stark in Iron Man 3 to serve as a Riot Control Suit. Because of this very purpose, the suit was nicknamed the “Peacemaker” due to its ability to control riots and keep the peace.
Being dubbed a Hot Toys 2014 Summer Exclusive, this figure features special metallic orange, dark grey and silver painting with distress effect on armor, LED light-up functions, caution sticker decals, and a figure base. This figure is to be Hot Toys’ fourth Summer Exclusive of 2014, following right behind the Bank Robber Joker 2.0, the Ancient Predator, and the Iron Man Mark 20 Python armor.
Iron Man fans that are actively collecting all of the armors from the “House Party Protocol” scene are certainly not going to want to miss this release. Fans may notice that this figure looks oddly similar to the already released Red Snapper sixth scale figure. Of course, that figure was part of their Power Pose Series statue line, so people may still be eager to get their hands on a fully articulated version of the armor (sans arm extensions).
The figure is going to be made available at the Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention (STGCC) from September 6 -7 first, and then available to select markets only after that. This means that Sideshow Collectibles will be the only way to get the figure if you live in North America. Keep your eyes on this page for the pre-order to go live!
UPDATE: Pre-orders are now available here.
so. much. awesome.
This guy is pretty awesome. I like how they include a sticker pack if you want to modify the figure’s look.
