Hot Toys Introduces the Artist Mix Collection, First Wave Featuring ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Collectibles

Hot Toys has been on a roll in recent years, as they have expanded year over year again with new lines of collectibles. This year they are going to be launching the Artist Mix Collection, which features the popular characters from the movies, but with a unique artist twist.

The Hong Kong based toy company has done something similar in the past with their Cosbaby line, but I have a feeling that it just didn’t catch on quite like they expected. This new Artist Mix Collection appears to be more realistic than the Cosbabys, but they are still going to have exaggerated proportions as you can see in the image below.

Hot Toys has already announced that the first wave of collectibles from this series will feature a number of characters from the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron film. Looking at the image of the silhouettes below, it looks like we will be getting Hulkbuster, Iron Man, Captain America, and an assortment of Ultron figures.
