If we aren’t counting super heroes, Hot Toys has probably made more Elder Predators than any other character. They’ve taken him on a couple of times from both Predator 2 and Alien vs. Predator, but it has been so long since they’ve taken him on from AVP that they are now going to be revisiting him with today’s standards in manufacturing to make a Hot Toys Elder Predator Version 2 sixth scale figure.
The AVP version of the Elder Predator has been needing an update for quite some time. Their previous Elder Predator and Throne diorama and the Elder Predator Model Kit were amazing at the time they were released, but that was almost 10 years ago. Things have changed, and now Hot Toys has updated the character to make a truly amazing figure.
If you’re scratching your head thinking Hot Toys just recently released an Elder Predator, you are correct. However, that figure was based on his appearance in Predator 2, where the character is wearing a significantly different costume.
Predator fans aren’t going to want to miss adding this action figure to your collection, as you aren’t going to be wanting to wait 10 more years for another update, are you?
