Here comes the alien invasion! Hot Toys and bloggers are proud to present some very awesome photos of the Hot Toys Chitauri Commander and Footsoldier 1/6 scale figures. These movie-accurate collectible figures are based off of their appearance in The Avengers movie. They each feature highly-detailed weapons, interchangeable hands, and a city rubble diorama stage base. It’s only the perfect addition to any Marvel collection.
Both the Chitauri Commander and Footsoldier sixth scale figures are scheduled to be shipping in July for $239.99. Though, Sideshow Collectibles also has an exclusive 2-pack, featuring everything that you would get if you purchased the figures separately, but also a Chitauri rifle, a folded up Chitauri rifle, and an extra left palm for holing the Chitauri rifle. You save a little bit of money with the 2-pack, as it it priced at just $474.99.
When Hot Toys released the prototype images for these figures, I admit that I was skeptical about spending that much money to complete my Hot Toys Avengers collection. Though, judging by the final product images, it looks like Hot Toys has improved the product to make it really worth it. Expect a full review once they are released in July.
