Hot Toys Augmented Reality App Now Available on App Store and Google Play

As many of you already know, when Hot Toys announced their Thor sixth scale figure from Avengers: Age of Ultron they also said there would be an official Hot Toys Augmented Reality app to complement the figure. That app is now available for free download in both the App Store and on Google Play.

With the use of the app, fans can explore and take photos of the striking 3D scene where a number of Ultron Prime’s dangerous sentries are swarming to attack the Asgardian prince!

This is the first app that Hot Toys has made and I think it’s a very cool idea. You no longer are going to have to spend hours setting up the perfect scene, instead you can just point your camera at the figure and Thor will be surrounded by sentries.

What’s even more interesting is that Hot Toys says that more Avengers: Age of Ultron figures are going to be joining the app in future updates. From the image in the app store, it looks like Iron Man, Captain America, and others will be coming soon.
