Scans of the most recent Hot Toys 2015 Catalog have hit the Internet, revealing a lot of what we can expect out of the Hong Kong based action figure manufacturer in the future. While we don’t actually get a look at any of the figures from the licenses announced here, it gives you a good idea how many pennies you should be saving to add these new figures to your collection when they become available.
The catalog reveals that Hot Toys has secured the license to make figures based on Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain, Terminator Genisys, and Ant-Man. None of these licenses should really be a surprise, since Hot Toys already holds similar licenses from the same franchises.
Apart from the license announcements, there are several pictures of some of their already announced sixth scale figures from Avengers: Age of Ultron and the first look at the quarter scale Iron Man Mark 43 figure.
There is one new reveal in the 2015 Catalog though – Avengers 2 Cosbabys! Some of them are still in the concept art phase, so a release date is unknown at this time.
why no xmen?,i wanted to see mystique or magnito or hell even shadowcat
That’s a good question. At this point it’s not really clear what Hot Toys is doing in regards to X-Men. In the past they have said they are developing more X-Men in interviews, but it’s taking much longer than it should.
Is that true? That Hot Toys is releasing Metal Gear Solid : Phantom Pain? If true, then YESS!!! I was already half way kitbashing Snake+Quiet :/ Probably I should of waited.
Yeah. But don’t get overly excited. They are probably just going to do 1 or 2 figures.
