Hot Toys 2013 Toy Fairs Exclusive Captain America Star Spangled Man Version
Today is the 4th of July and Hot Toys couldn’t have picked a better day than today than to reveal the most patriotic 1/6th scale exclusive of the summer. This year their first summer exclusive is going to be the Hot Toys 2013 Toy Fairs Exclusive Captain America Star Spangled Man Version, all decked out in red, white and blue.
The official product specifications and more pictures haven’t been released yet, but as they are this post will be updated accordingly.
Last year Hot Toys attended 6 different summer Toy Fairs including:
- San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC)
- Ani-Com & Game Hong Kong (ACG HK)
- Hot Toys Tokyo Flagship Store Toy Sapiens 2012 Summer Exclusives Fair
- Taiwan Annual Exhibition
- Singapore Toy, Game & Comic Convention
- Ani-Com & Games Guangzhou (ACG GZ)
At this point it is unclear which summer conventions Hot Toys will be attending, but it is pretty safe to assume that they will be at least attending the same as what they did last year. The Hot Toys 2013 Toy Fairs Exclusive Captain America Star Spangled Man Version should be available on Sideshow Collectibles soon for pre-order if you are unable to make it to SDCC 2013.

Tempted to make him my first Hot Toys purchase
He may make a good first Hot Toys purchase, though judging by how bad last year’s exclusive Captain America sold, I think this one is going to be available for awhile.
I’m waiting for the specs before I make a decision.
I still don’t understand why he didn’t sell, he looks pretty cool
I know right! I was actually considering picking up last years Captain America like last month… Maybe they just produced way too many? Or maybe people just don’t like that version compared to the Avengers or the First Avengers version. Who Knows?
I’m not the biggest fan on the Chris Evans head sculpt though
And that shield is totally bad-ass!
