It’s Friday today and it’s also Halloween, so do you know what that means? It means that it’s time for Hikari Friday, which of course, is themed for the spooky holiday. Funko has just announced that the Metaluna Mutant Hikari Figure is going to be joining the line.
This figure is based on the Metaluna Mutant’s appearance in the Universal Monsters movie This Island Earth. This extraterrestrial monster features his veiny oversized brain and vicious claws in the stylized Hikari format.
Standing about 6-inches tall, the Metaluna Mutant comes packaged in a collector friendly window box. Being limited at just 1,500 pieces worldwide, don’t expect him to hang around too long, especially since this is the first variant of the character to make it into Funko’s Hikari line.
He’s currently available for pre-order here and is expected to start shipping this January!
