Marv is arguably of the most popular of the Sin City characters and his popularity took a jump start when The Sin city movie was brought to us by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez. Now Hollywood Collectables Group has released they’re first officially licensed exclusive Marv 1:4 scale statue.
The exclusive Marv statue is portrayed with a pistol in one hand and his left hand can be changed out to feature Kevin’s decapitated head. The statue was sculpted to portray Mickey Rourke who was the actor chosen to play Marv in the movie. Marv is wearing the classic (bloodstained) white shirt and trench coat. This statue comes with a base plate shaped and painted like the Sin City logo. Much like Marv himself, this statue is very tall standing at an impressive 20 inches tall when placed on his base plate. This collectable is available for pre-order. It is being sold for $349.95 and is available for a payment plan for $49 a month which is always nice for those of us who do not have $350 set aside for collectables.
Seemingly the only difference between the exclusive and the regular edition of this statue is that the regular edition does not come with Kevins served head, instead, it only has the standard closed fist. Both the exclusive and the standard are set at the same price of $349.95. Marv’s statue is constructed from heavyweight polystone and is hand painted.
There were 500 standard statues available worldwide and only 100 exclusive statues made worldwide. With Marv being the first officially licensed Sin City statue from Hollywood Collectables, you won’t want to miss adding this impressive statue to your collection. Let alone miss out on adding one the 100 exclusive statues.
