Hasbro Transformers SDCC 2013 Exclusives

Every year Hasbro brings some of the best San Diego Comic-Con exclusives to the biggest pop culture event in the world. Quite a few of the Hasbro SDCC 2013 Exclusives have already been revealed, but what about the Hasbro Transformers SDCC 2013 Exclusives? Via Hero Complex Hasbro has finally spilled the beans on what Transformers fans can expect to see at the big Con. It looks like there are going to be 3 Transformers specific San Diego Comic-Con exclusives, not counting the already revealed G.I. Joe vs Transformers crossover set.

Transformers Titan Guardians Action Figure Set

In preperation for the Transformers brand’s 30th anniversary this exclusives is paying tribute to the Transformers: Generation 1 (G1) figures from 1984. This 5 figure set includes 5 classic characters: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave and Grimlock. They each stand about 6 inches tall and don’t transform.

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Shockwave’s Laboratory

This set comes with a Voyager Class Shockwave with a G1-inspired paint scheme, as well as a Commander Class Predaking figure with an Energon-infused translucent design. This special SDCC collectible is sold in “Laboratory” packaging based on the hit TV series.

Transformers Generations Titan Class Metroplex SDCC Edition

The largest converting Transformers toy ever made! The Metroplex is just now starting to hit shelves, but this SDCC exclusive Metroplex has some unique features that you aren’t going to find on the standard retail release version. Like the normal release the SDCC Metroplex changes from robot mode to rolling battle platform mode, and also converts into an Autobot city. The special-edtion features 2 giant blasters, metallic coated armor, chrome foil stickers, as well as a Legends-scale Scamper figure and 12 miniature Autobot and Decepticon figures to inhabit his Autobot city mode.
