Just yesterday Hasbro held its first Star Wars live stream of the year and I have to say it was rather disappointing. There were a number of Retro Collection, Vintage Collection & Black Series reveals. The Vintage Collection got the most reveals of the bunch. Here’s a list of the reveals:

As you can see the Vintage Collection got the most reveals both revealed during the panel and in the pipeline. If you are a Vintage Collection collector you had plenty to be happy about and even though I only collect a small amount of Vintage Collection figures I was very impressed with these, especially the Return of The Jedi Darth Vader, Weequay, Starkiller, and plenty of Clone figures. I really like that the Return of the Jedi Darth Vader comes with an interchangeable severed hand stump and a really cool removable helmet with a new head beneath. I’ll definitely consider getting it and gives me hope for the Black Series version.

Also, the ROTJ Han Solo looks great on that card. They also got some sweet pipeline reveals especially that Obi-Wan & Battle Damaged Darth Vader figure and the N1 Starfighter from The Mandalorian which looks incredible.

I am not that interested in the Retro Line whatsoever and I know some fans are really into them and they have a lot in the pipeline later this year.

To start off the Black Series reveals they revealed the next roleplay item which is the Scout Trooper helmet which looks very sleek and very well done. I was quite disappointed with the reveals as there were not all that many. The Revenge of The Jedi Darth Vader which is a repaint of the ESB Darth Vader to recreate his look from the Revenge of The Jedi poster which was a working title before it was called Return of The Jedi. The figure will be exclusively available Star Wars Celebration later this year and will come with a mini poster from the film.

They also revealed Clone Wars Arc Trooper Jesse which looks pretty good and I know that the fin on the top of the helmet is incorrect. I’m really impressed with the Ki-Adi-Mundi and I know that he has been in the pipeline since last summer and he looks fantastic on a new body. It’s just a pity that he does not come with many accessories aside from his lightsaber and it’s always nice to see more prequel Jedi in the Black Series line.

One figure I am really excited about and a little frustrated about at the same time is the Endor Rebel Trooper which looks incredible but I do have a problem with it, it’s classed as a deluxe figure when it comes with the same amount of accessories as the Hoth Rebel Trooper which came with two blasters, interchangeable face plate and backpack. Also, Hoth Rebel Trooper came with more pieces to make each trooper look different with removable goggles and a scarf where as this one only comes with an interchangeable faceplate. If it comes with more parts I would be comfortable with getting a number of them but I think I’ll draw the line at two.

There were just crumbs for the pipeline reveals as well with a Book of Boba Fett Grogu & Luke set, Deluxe Dark Malagus, and an Ashoka Clone Trooper helmet. I’d be curious to see the Grogu & Luke set to see what exact accessories they come with. There are some pipeline items that as I was hoping we’d see what with the 40th anniversary of ROTJ this year I’d like to of seen the new Darth Vader on the retro card which would be a big upgrade on the previous ROTJ one and the Death Star Battle Luke would have been great to see as well. Hopefully in the next live stream, they have more Black Series reveals as this one was really lacking.

Also, it should be noted that none of the figures have gone up for pre-order nor have they released a pre-order date so we’ll just have to wait for an update from Hasbro in the coming weeks.
