Hasbro Pulsecon 2020 Marvel Reveals

As well as having a panel on Star Wars yesterday they also had a panel on Marvel Legends too and much like the Star Wars panel they revealed a lot of new products. Some of which have been rumored for a number of months.

It’s been known for some time that there would be a second Gamerverse wave for the Avengers video game. Like the first wave, the wave is a mix of video games and comic book figures. The video game figures in this wave are the Stealth Captain America and Atmosphere Armor Iron Man. I’m glad that we are getting an unmasked head for Captain America which I’ll be using for the Cap figure from the first wave. Hopefully, we’ll see a Black Widow and Thor down the line too as I really like their designs for the game and I wonder if there are plans for more characters from the game as there is a lot of characters for DLC.

I’m even more impressed with the comic book figures from this wave. Especially the Jocasta, Classic Falcon, and Thunderstrike. It’s great that we’re getting a Jocasta figure as I’m a big Iron Man fan and I love the 90’s Esque Iron Man figures they’ve been releasing lately so Jocasta would make a great addition to my collection. The Classic Falcon would look great on display with the 80th Anniversary Cap that came out last year. I’m not too familiar with Thunderstrike but he looks so 90’s I love it!

Also that Joe Fixit Hulk BAF looks awesome! I’m definitely going to have to hunt down all the figures in this wave when they are released!

I know that Hasbro is releasing Retro 3.75″ Marvel figures and they seem to be going down well with fans. Though personally I’m a bit too young to remember these I do love the packaging on these.

Then they revealed a lot of new products but unfortunately, they haven’t released any official press pictures so I can’t show them, but I know other sites have the images posted from the panel.

I’m personally really excited about the Bad Guys BAF wave as it sounds like such an exciting idea and quite honestly I don’t have enough villains on my Marvel Legends shelf so I am very excited for this wave. The images that I saw of Arcade looked great and I would definitely add him to my X-Men shelf and the Dormammu looked fantastic too. I wonder what other figures will be in the wave?

I’m glad that the Into The Spiderverse film is actually getting a Marvel Legends wave and I really like the look of the movie figures that they have revealed so far. I know that a lot of fans including myself would love to pick these up. The Hand Ninja looks to be a great army builder for the wave and I would definitely love to get a few of these and I hope that another Daredevil and Elecktra aren’t too far behind in another wave as those figures demand a high price on the secondary market.

I do wonder what the Deluxe Thanos figure will be like, will it be like the War Machine that got released a month or so ago? I’m very happy that we’re getting another Silver Surfer figure but unfortunately, it’s a Walgreens exclusive so I’m not sure how it’ll be released internationally. Though Star Action Figures have been releasing a number of the Walgreens figures lately so perhaps they’ll release it down the line.

I’m not too familiar with The House of X Powers of 10 storylines but I know fans have been clamoring for figures from that arc for a while. What I’m a big fan of is the Retro X-Men carded Rogue and Gambit which look fantastic and beyond the incentive of having them on the awesome retro cards they have new heads and accessories. A big incentive for me to get these.
