Hasbro Marvel Legends Panel Pre-Orders

On Monday Hasbro held a Marvel Legends panel and now some of those pre-orders are now up for pre-order at various retailers. The biggest reveal of course was the full reveal of the next Spider-Man The Animated Series Wave and boy what a great wave that is. They also revealed the Excalibur Three Pack, The S.H.I.E.L.D agents two pack and the Skrull Infiltrator would be Hasbro Pulse Exclusives.

We had seen the Pulse exclusives before so only more pictures and information were new about these. I do admit that these look absolutely excellent and I would love to get the Skrull Infiltrator and the Excalibur figure as I am not much of an army builder when it comes to Marvel Legends. The big reveal for me was the next wave of the Spider-Man The Animated Series Wave.

We knew that the Symbiote Suit Spider-Man would be in the wave, but I didn’t expect to see other big hitters such as the Ben Reily Spider-Man, Hobgoblin, Iron Suit Spider-Man, and Shocker! Though Hammerhead is no slouch either! I really do love the pinstripe suit and that head sculpt! The figures look incredibly well-detailed and a lot of these figures use new tooling like Shocker, Iron Spider, and Hammerhead. I do love the retro cards that they are on which is a big incentive for me to get the figures.

Of course, as I grew up in the 90’s I have a lot of nostalgia for the 90’s animated series and I absolutely love these! Of course, the Spider-Man figures are using that same body that the Spider-Man figure used in the first series. This is such a fantastic wave and I did not get to see such big hitters in a wave and I hope that there is another wave of Spider-Man Animated Series and hopefully we’ll get some re-releases from the last wave as I missed a number of them and they go for quite high prices on the secondary market.

They also dropped a few teasers, one was for a large Spider-Man The Animated Animated Series figure (possibly Rhino or The Lizard) a barrel, a figure with no legs, and a WWII background. No word on these but I am guessing we’ll know more next month during Has Con next month. Here are the official pics from Hasbro.
