Halo Avatars Series 2 Are Blindsiding Stores This Month
McFarlane Toys’ Halo Avatars Series 2 are going to be blindsiding the stores this month with 8 new stylized representations of the Halo characters. These little guys are here to supposedly help save the day but I’m still convinced that they are here to break your wallet.
The Halo Avatars Series are fully customizable figures that feature interchangeable heads, torsos, and legs. You can mix and match pieces to create their own custom avatar figure, much like they can with their online avatar.
Included in Halo Avatars Series 2 is:
- Blue EVA Helmet & Legendary Tee
- Emile
- Anniversary Helmet and Tee
- Blue JFO Helmet & Black Noble Team Tee
- Brute Costume
- Banshee
- Red Spartan Mark VI
- Metallic Gold ODST
In addition to the characters and apparel released in Series 2 there is also going to be a “prop” item, the ultra rare Avatar Banshee. Don’t think that you are just going to be walking into your favorite Walmart and picking up the figure you want and walking out. These figures come disassembled and randomly packaged in a small “blind” foil bag.
You will be able to purchase these blind bagged figures any time now at Gamestop, Target, Toys “R” Us, or Walmart. The only way you can succed at collecting blind bag figures is to have x-ray vision – but the new improved foil bags are supposed to block that too. Good Luck!
