Funko Introduces Hikari Premium Transformers and Creature from the Black Lagoon Hikari Sofubi Figure

Funko has been on a roll lately with their new line of Hikari Sofubi vinyl figures. For the past several months they have been revealing at least one new figure per week, but sometimes even two new figures. This week they are going big by revealing Hikari Premium Transformers figures and a brand new Creature from the Black Lagoon Hikari Sofubi Figure.

The new line of Hikari Premium Transformers is very similar to the normal releases, though they have very extensive paint applications applied to them to make an absolutely stunning figure. They are said to have over 75 paint applications, which you can clearly see in the images below.

Funko’s first couple of Premium Hikari figures are going to be exclusive to Entertainment Earth and are each limited to 1,000 pieces each. They are being dubbed “battle ready” Optimus Prime and Bumblebee and are currently available for pre-order exclusively at Entertainment Earth.

Then we have a brand new Creature from the Black Lagoon Hikari figure. This figure isn’t going to be part of the new Premium line, but the normal line instead. If you compare the images of the transformers with the Creature from the Black Lagoon you should be able to see the major differences in the paint applications.

The Creature from the Black Lagoon is also available for pre-order now and is limited to just 750 pieces worldwide.
