Funko Reveals First Dancing Groot Toy from ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’

If you haven’t seen Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy yet, what’s wrong with you? It has been 3 weeks since the movie’s release and it’s still running strong near the top of the box office charts. Toward the end of the movie there is a scene with a small dancing Groot. He’s so dang cute that he instantly became famous, causing thousands of people to go on the search for an official dancing Groot toy.

Apart from a few custom-made items and an accessory for a very expensive action figure, a Dancing Groot toy has been nowhere to be found – until now. Funko has just announced they will be producing the first ever baby Groot toy, featuring real dancing action.

The figure is to be part of Funko’s extremely popular and cute line of Pop! vinyl figures. In order to give Groot the dancing effect, he features bobble-head action! The figure stands about 3.75″ tall and comes packaged in Guardians of the Galaxy themed window-box packaging.

You can expect an official announcement early next week, which should outline the price and release date. So, stay tuned for more extreme cuteness next week!
